Espa stage is an outdoor concert venue which is situated in the Esplanadi park, right next to Havis Amanda statue on Markert square. Espa stage hosts many concerts during summer months, mainly from Wednesday to Friday. On Saturdays special themed events also take place. Music has been played in Esplanadi park since the late 19th century in smaller venue. Current stage has been built in 1975. Concerts are being organized until autumn. Limited amount of seats are available in front of the stage, and the concerts can also be enjoyed from restaurant Kappeli, which has open air terrace right next to the stage. Events are free of charge.
