Smaku Porvoo event takes place 14.-25.8. For two weeks, a visitor in Porvoo has a possibility to taste the signature dishes of 19 local restaurants. In addition to this there will be a main event which is held at Porvoo Art Factory on the 25.8 where the tastings are continuing. All the restaurants of the event will be gathering to the Art Factory area.
Smaku Porvoo restaurants serves their dishes made of local ingredients. This event offers a wide range of food made by the restaurants. They create beautiful and delicious small dishes to enjoy. The Smaku tasting dishes are available for 5€ each .

About Porvoo
Enchanting Porvoo is the second oldest town in Finland. Porvoo consist of the modern part and Old Porvoo with its about 800 inhabitants and working places. Porvoo became a town already in year 1380. Most of the private houses are built in the 18th and 19th century. Porvoo is located approximately 50 km to east of the capital Helsinki. You can take a bus from the Kamppi bus station in Helsinki. In summer there is a boat connection from Helsinki harbour to Porvoo.
